TDA Investment Group’s success as a seasoned institutional real estate asset manager comes from knowing who we serve: our beneficiaries and their families. Our investment objective is the maintenance and protection of capital, while maximizing return for their secure retirement, in addition to ensuring we stand true to our belief in supporting investments that benefit the communities where we work.

We take our responsibility as a steward of our clients’ capital seriously and seek to minimize risk while giving investments time to grow, ultimately creating patient capital with an eye on long-term growth. Our investment philosophy includes adherence to responsible fund management guidelines, while allowing for adaptability in our strategic approach.

We execute a range of mutually- agreed investment programs for our clients, from real estate equity and lending strategies, to extensive real estate developments of client assets.

Separately Managed Accounts

We manage separate accounts for pensions, including Taft-Hartley plans, with extensive expertise in ERISA funds. Each Separate Account we manage is specifically tailored to the client's needs, taking into account the client's larger portfolio balance and needs for diversification, cashflow, returns and capital preservation.

Commingled Funds

TDA is now offering a commingled fund to clients consisting of both debt and equity investments in commercial real estate with a focus on the West Coast and Hawaii. The fund is managed with TDA's steadfast mindset of prudence and commitment to community & clients.

Taft-Hartley Plan Experts

The TDA team has an extensive knowledge base of the Federal laws governing the conduct of union pension funds. With decades of experience managing plan assets, we have developed financial and regulatory controls to navigate the complexities of multi-employer defined benefit plans.

The primary responsibility of fiduciaries is to run the plan solely in the interest of participants and beneficiaries, and for the exclusive purpose of providing benefits and paying plan expenses. Within the parameters of our investment management agreements, TDA is charged with the strategic success of our pension and institutional client’s real estate portfolios.
